Policy Dialogues October 2025
As part of Durbeen’s completed project under Data and Research in Education – Research Consortium (DARE-RC), researchers from our institution contribute evidence and insights at high-level policy dialogues. For example, the policy dialogue series held in Peshawar (25 October) and Karachi (28 October) engaged policymakers, education experts, and community.
Symposium November 2025
Symposium November 2025 on Inclusive & Equitable ELT in Multilingual Pakistan, organised in collaboraiton with the Society of Pakistan English Language Teachers (SPELT) provided an opportunity to bring to the fore voices of teachers from multilingual classrooms in addition to sharing cutting edge research on stakeholder perspectives from two provinces in Pakistan, Sindh and Kyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Online Research Expo 2024
The Online Research Expo 2024 convened researchers, faculty, and students in a virtual setting to disseminate findings and foster academic dialogue.

Symposium November, 2024 on Equity and Access to Education: Language Policies and Practices was organised in collaboation with Durbeen abd brough together both researchers and practioners on one platform to discuss issues in langauge of instruction and their impact on multilingual learners
Teacher Education Conference 2023
This first conference on teacher education brought together teacher educators and researchers from across Pakistan as well as from Durbeen’s collaborating institution, Oxford University. The conference provided a much needed space to discuss to discuss issues related to teacher/teacher educator quality and education policy reforms more generally.
