Bridging Quality Assurance Standards with Teaching and Learning
The Quality Assurance and Monitoring Cell (QAMC) at SITE plays a central role in promoting academic integrity and institutional effectiveness. As an essential component of the Institute's governance framework, the QAMC ensures that academic programs, teaching, and institutional processes meet established quality standards.
Guided by the standards of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, the QAMC implements structured review systems and monitoring processes. The Cell works closely with the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) and oversees program evaluations, internal reviews, and stakeholder feedback processes.
To strengthen academic standards through systematic quality assurance and continuous institutional improvement.
To enhance the quality of teaching, learning, and academic governance at SITE by implementing structured monitoring and evaluation processes, engaging stakeholders in ongoing improvement initiatives, and ensuring alignment with HEC and NACTE standards.
Coordinates internal program reviews and preparation for external accreditation bodies including NACTE.
Conducts structured evaluations to gather student perspectives on teaching effectiveness, course design, and assessment methods.
Prepares reports on key performance indicators including course averages, examination patterns, and evaluation trends to support data-driven decision-making.
Gathers feedback from current students, alumni, and employers through graduating student surveys and town hall sessions.
