Academic Senate

The Academic Senate is the principal academic governing body of SITE, responsible for overseeing all matters related to academic programs, curriculum, examinations, and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

Approving new academic programs and major curriculum changes
Setting and maintaining academic standards across all programs
Overseeing examination policies and degree requirements
Advising the Board of Governors on academic matters
Reviewing and approving research policies and ethics guidelines
Ensuring compliance with HEC and NACTE academic requirements

The Academic Senate meets regularly to review academic performance data, approve policy changes, and ensure SITE's programs remain aligned with national and international standards in teacher education.
