Frequently Asked Questions

SITE currently offers two programs: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. Hons) Elementary — a 4-year undergraduate program, and M.Phil. in Education (Teacher Educator Development) — a 2-year postgraduate research program. The M.Phil. is the first of its kind in Pakistan, developed in partnership with the University of Oxford and the Malala Fund.

Candidates must have completed Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS) with a minimum of 45% marks. An entry test and interview are also required. Please refer to the Admissions Policy for full details.

Candidates must hold a B.Ed. (Hons) or equivalent 16-year education degree with a minimum of 55% marks or 2.5 CGPA, plus a valid NTS GAT (General) score. A departmental interview is also required for shortlisted candidates.

Yes. SITE offers merit-based scholarships, need-based financial aid, and HEC-funded scholarships. Apply through the Admissions Office or online portal during the admissions period.

Yes. SITE is fully recognized and accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The B.Ed. program is also recognized by the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE).

SITE is located at FB Area Block 15, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The campus is accessible by public transport. Office hours: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
