We're glad you found your way to us! At the LSC, we want to ensure that every student has the support she needs to do her best academic work. The LSC allows students to work with peers and faculty members to get the academic help they need — from academic writing to solving a math problem, or creating a spreadsheet on Excel!
Our guiding principle is that academic support is not remedial — it is developmental. The LSC fosters an environment in which students can strengthen skills, address challenges, and engage more confidently with academic expectations.
Structured support in quantitative reasoning and basic statistics. Weekly small-group sessions focusing on foundational mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
Personalized support for academic writing, grammar, spoken English, reading comprehension, and academic communication skills.
Hands-on guidance in word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, digital research, and evaluating sources.
